Lisa Mietz

Lisa Mietz graduated from Carthage College with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English and Language Arts. Lisa has taught primary and intermediate grades in Los Alamos, NM as well as Naperville, IL. She has been using Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory structured language for the past several years. When not in the classroom, Lisa maintains a private practice where she works with children who learn differently. Lisa’s philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. She believes the greatest gift she can offer is to help a child discover his or her individual learning style and work alongside them to maximize it.
